Mr. Oaks is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Nevada and California. He has been part of the Johnson-Perkins & Associates team since 1997. His experience includes marinas, specialty retail centers, major redevelopment projects in the Tahoe Basin, environmentally sensitive properties and hotels and casinos. Prior to his employment with Johnson-Perkins & Associates, he worked for several national accounting firms as a hospitality and gaming consultant conducting feasibility studies; hotel casino operational reviews and financial analyses; resort hotel real estate appraisals; and other consulting services specific to the hospitality industry. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a bachelor’s degree in hotel administration. Community endeavors include currently serving as a member of the Tahoe-Douglas Rotary Club.
